Through
its communities and farmers, TACDRUP is producing
“organically-grown” rice, corn, vegetables
and other crops, and livestock which are being
sold in the local markets (Davao City, Davao
del Sur and North Cotabato). TACDRUP for instance
facilitated the establishment of integrated
cooperatives that assist farmers in the marketing
of their crops and other produce.
Although
other produce are absorbed in the local market,
organically-grown rice can be had in volume.
The Mindanao Agri-Network Corporation (MANCOR)
is handling the major trading and distribution
of the organically-grown rice coming from
the rice bowls of Davao del Sur and North
Cotabato. One of the products that MANCOR
markets is brown rice. You can order brown
rice from MANCOR in volume.
